Official GameCube Adapter Freezes Dolphin

I recently purchased the new GameCube Controller and Adapter in preparation for the new Smash Bros, but when I try to use it on my Google Pixel running Android 9, the app locks up and freezes after I give permission to the controller, or the controller is ignored. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, can someone help me?

It's known to have problems of that kind. Not sure if it actually is usable in its current state.

What handset are you using? And should I turn on USB debugging?

Currently only the Mayflash adapter appears to work. The Official Nintendo one isn't working, but we're looking into it now.

What's the current status for getting the Official Nintendo adaptor working on Android.

There is a PR up for this. You can test it out by installing this apk.\

Update: PR is merged, so issue should be fixed.
