Odd problem with C-stick.

So, I'm having a weird problem with one of my GC controllers. I will configure it to any port and play with it for 30 minutes-1 hour~ and it will work perfectly. Numerous times, however, it will start to take up a constant and seemingly random input. Tonight I was playing Melee with my buddies and it was working until this happened. This is like the 5th time. I X+Y+Start it and it does nothing. I tried to remap my inputs and everything works but up; where the constant input is this time.

Is anyone familiar with this sort of problem? I know very little about Dolphin and GC controllers, but I really want to fix this. All help will be appreciated.

If you are using the adapter how are you remapping your inputs? Is it a Nintendo adapter or a 3rd party?

Sorry for not responding sooner. I'm using the Nintendo adapter. I'm remapping them by going to controller configuration settings and then editing the c-stick accordingly. Maybe your confusion about this is stemming from me using the term "remapping" improperly? Thanks for the response, by the way.

You shouldn't be configuring the controls at all if you want to use the wii u adapter like a real GC controller.
