Odd Game .ini behaviour

Ever since Dolphin 4.0, regardless of the revision, I have a problem with the Game ini files stored in User/Documents. When I try to change anything
in the game ini file, like changing the values of a cheat code or adding another setting, and then click on save, the whole text of the file is deleted, leaving it completely blank.

At first, I thought that this is only when I change the Gecko Codes, but I recently found out that any change deletes the whole input.

Changeing something in the standard game ini files of the installation folder doesn't work, too. The text isn't deleted, but the changes seem not be recognised by Dolphin.
I tried adding Force Texture Filtering to Wii Sports Resort. When I write it in the User/Documents file, the text gets deleted. When I write it in the standard file, the Force Texture
Filtering doesn't work.

Does anyone have the same problem? What could I do to stop this behaviour?

Thank you for your help!

You should edit the file through Dolphin, not manually. Right click the game in Dolphin, go to Properties and click Edit Settings. A blank file will open in notepad, add your modifications here, save the file and then close notepad...

This is exactly what I did. When I type in a change, click on save, close it and open it again, the changes are gone. When I downloaded Gecko Codes and
change even one letter, all of the codes are deleted and I have to download them another time.

EDIT: I made a screen video to show you what I mean. I hope you can see this. http://www.vidup.de/v/36Sjy/

That's strange. Try this: open properties, download the codes, close properties window. Try opening properties again and edit something to see what happens...

I tried what you said but this didn't work. It doesn't matter when I change something in the file. The moment I change and save, everything is deleted.
Settings, codes, everything. This is a big problem for the codes where you have to enter values yourself. It's also quite inconvenient to change the graphic settings
over the menus al the time when I want to play a particular game. Rabbids Go Home for example needs some different settings to work.

Well, you should go to issue tracker. Open a new issue report about that...

Ok, I'll do this. It's pretty strange. But I wonder if someone has the same problem.
