Try using the latest development versions? Try turning off Native GameCube Controller support, etc.

Also, bad/incomplete ISO dumps can cause this too; try a portable install that doesn't point to your ISO directories.

Just had a similar problem, not sure if exactly the same though. Installed the drivers for the Wii U gamecube adapter and it was fixed.

Where did you get the installation for the drivers?

I'm also getting crashes on starting Dolphin, and sometimes even results in a BSOD. Dolphin was running fine, using the latest development version, but suddenly this problem keeps occurring. I've tried all of the development versions which have been released over the past week, which has resulted in the same crashing. The only way that I can run Dolphin now is using the stable version 4.0.2 (using the Windows x64 version in all cases).

Hopefully someone can help out with this soon.

Is there an issue for that? If not there definitely should be.

Might not have the same problem. I managed to get the latest dev version to start up before installing the drivers but 6554 (the one i needed for melee netplay) wouldn't work before installing driver. Also I never BSOD.. Anyways here:

Looks like you need the gamcube adapter plugged in though?
