I have an extra 650W Antec Earthwatts I was going to use, as I saw that the 460GTX uses a whole 100 watts more than my current card!

That PSU is more than enough for your needs. You're even SLI Ready with that PSU.

Sorry for bumping my own thread but I came across another question that I need to ask as I am building my new system:

How much RAM does Dolphin need? Is 4G ok? 8G? At what point does no extra RAM hep speeds?

Thanks.

After about 3GB it has no benefit.

1-2GB is plenty. 4/8GB will not improve dolphins performance but it will improve the performance of windows and some applications.

Can you even run Windows 7 with only 1GB ram?

32-bit Windows 7 runs fine on 1GB of RAM. I wouldn't set out to run it with only 1GB, but if you had to, it'd be okay.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Both 32 bit and 64 bit windows 7 will run on 1GB of ram. They won't run well, but they will run.

With some clever tweaking you could even get it to run with much less ram than that.
