what i did was i went to device manager then display adapters then right click uninstall but why are you so surprised

and if passmark is unreliable then where can i find a good accurate trust worthy benchmark that allows me to see which cpu is faster for whenever i decide to go get one

Select 2 CPUs you want to compare and click "view comparison"
For Dolphin , look at "Cinebench R10 Single Threaded Benchmark"
For PCSX2 or any application that support more than 2 cores , look at "Cinebench R10 Multi Threaded Benchmark"

An IGP is part of/is hardware; "uninstalling" hardware means physically removing it from the system. What you most likely did only affected software, probably by removing the drivers or necessary software for it. An IGP is integrated for a reason, i.e. it's still in your computer even now.

My mock surprise comes from your incorrect usage of words. Really "uninstalling" an IGP would involve a lot desoldering (probably by a machine no less) and you might not even be left with a functioning CPU or whatever other component it's integrated with.

incorrect usage of words? no its you thinking that uninstalling meant physically removing the thing. i even wrote what i did and it clearly says when i right click "uninstall'' so its not me misusing words thats what it said (uninstall) and so thats what i wrote. so yea big misunderstanding

so just to clear things up what happened was i ''uninstalled'' the ''Driver'' since basically i went to Device Manager and clicked uninstall Tongue

What you've said:

yodenny Wrote:maybe i didnt fully uninstall the intergrated one?

yodenny Wrote:i uninstalled that integrated graphics card

I'm repeating myself only because the issue is pretty much black and white. An IGP is hardware. When people talk about uninstalling hardware, that means physically removing it. That meaning's near universal in the realm of computing. Anything else is just inaccurate usage. It wouldn't have been inaccurate if you had said "I uninstalled that driver for the integrated graphics processor" since you can easily uninstall software such as that. You never once mentioned the word "driver" though, even if you mentioned the Windows Device Manager. However, you did keep talking about "uninstalling" the IGP.
