This is the new mobile chip coming out this year. It is supposed to be more powerful than xbox 360 and ps3 and have same graphics features as ps4 and xbox one. There will be 2 models coming out one in the first half of this year with arm cortex a15 quad core and one with nvidia denver dual core ( super core cpu) coming out the second half of 2014, and will have dx11 opengl es 3.0, opengl 4.4, nvidia cuda 5 and tessellation. While it might not be powerful to run dolphin full speed on android (maybe idk) it will be a big improvement to mobile phones and dolphin on mobile. What do you guys think about this and are you excited?

Wait... should this not be in android section? Anyway, I think the Tegra K1 might be half-way decent
giving the new hardware.

Edit: Though not full speed in almost all games. Though path of radiance might be playable. (Low end game)

Double Edit: I'm not really sure. We'll just have to wait and see.
i3-4000m Intel Hd 4600

I bet I'm the only person you know who'll play Dolphin at 1X resolution.

Dolphin will support the K1 at least as well as any other OpenGL ES 3.0 device. We'll have to wait until the hardware becomes available in a couple months.

I'm most interested in the Denver version with its 64bit cores so I can do work on a AArch64 CPU core. That'll take some more time, I've only just begun work on it and I don't even have hardware to test it on so they'll be a lot of bugs to work through in my code.

What about the fact that is supports full OpenGL 4.4 and DX11? If this is a trend that continues with other SOC's would that make development of dolphin for android easier?

If you dont already know the answer to this its best just to listen to those that do and know that its never coming to the Tegra 4
