Do we know how this actually compares to the current 32 bit Tegra K1? I believe I read somewhere that it's not as fast, but the main benefit is that it uses very little power, especially considering the performance it gives out.

It's already been confirmed to be both faster and more efficient. It also does away with the useless quad core gimmicks and focuses on better core design, leading to improved efficiency and performance.
Base on Benchmark which was posted on official Nvidia facebook page , the Quad Core K1 32bit version is on par with Dual Core K1 64bit in multi-threaded Benchmark
Since Dolphin is a dual core application , K1 64bit will be twice as fast as K1 32bit Quote:quad core gimmicksTrue . There's hardly any app that requires quad-core processing Despite all those quad, hexa, octa core 32bit processors, Android phones do stutter and lag sometime . On the other hand, iPhones deliver fluid user experience with a dual-core 64bit processor Laptop: Mini PC :: |
