I recently purchased the Nvidia Shield K1 and am running Android 6.0.1 (not rooted). I have the latest Dolphin emulator of 4.0 9820 version. However, the games are running very slow (if able to at all) and won't run using the "fast mem" feature. How do I get the emulator to run games and what issues are there? Is their a compatibility issue with android 6.0.1? Please help!

It's because currently available mobile hardware is too slow to run Dolphin reasonably well.

Hundreds of people use the Nvidia shield tablet k1 specifically for this because it runs very well. The tegra k1 is one of the fastest mobile processors. Yes, it does run. Look it up on YouTube. Does anyone know anything that will help me regarding this issue? 05-14-2016, 09:44 AM
How are you even running Dolphin mobile on that device?
The Nvidia SHIELD Tablet K1 is running 32bit Android, while Dolphin Mobile requires 64bit Android... 05-14-2016, 10:08 AM

However, if you go on YouTube, people are playing it fine on there. I'm so lost as to what to do! Any suggestions? 05-14-2016, 10:11 AM

I think it may have to do with an update to Marshmallow. What do you think? Any suggestions for a fix? 05-14-2016, 11:03 AM

My suggestion is to stop attempting to run old outdated builds, we don't support them any longer.
Also stop spamming everywhere, posting in more places won't help you more, it'll just make people ignore you harder or cause you to become banned. 05-14-2016, 11:06 AM

The problem is that even the new build doesn't work either. The latest build didn't work. However, at one point, the latest and older builds did work. Which is why I think the android 6.0 marshmallow update ruined the capatibility for the Nvidia shield tablet k1. You know anything else? 05-14-2016, 11:08 AM
Yes, due to how Android 6.0 changed memory allocation, it made it impossible for us to grab the memory space required for emulation, it was in part a reason why the 32bit Android support was dropped.
