Picked up the shield last week. Been trying for multiple hours now to get back of mario kart going but just keep running into error could not read/write to from wii system memory error. Have tried last 2 builds now and just can't get past that error. What am i missing?

Try to copy your Wii subfolder from the desktop, iirc this is a savegame issue.

Run the game on Windows to create a save file close dolphin copy the wii folder That is in the system directory, Paste it on to a USB then plug the USB into the shield copy the wii folder from the USB to the dolphin folder on the shield.

hi, I managed to run the gamecube games so far on the nvidia shield tv, but not a single wii game. tried Mario kart Wii, Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario Galaxy.
For me, only the 4.8373 lets me use the shield controller in the Mario Kart Wii menu, though I have to reset to have it found...very complicated... .But the memory error is for me an unsolvable hurdle. I can't run dolphin on my vaio laptop so I downloaded a save game but have no idea where to put, so I basically put everywhere in the data folders, but no success. Please let me know what to do, A "how to for dummies" would be very apreciated thanks a lot 02-18-2016, 07:14 PM

I will upload the file on Sunday. |
