Can the shield be safely overclocked?
Also are there chances games will run faster on this over time?

Hey everyone,
Loving the new builds on the shield but Ive been having an issue with controller mapping. The dpad options are reversed for left and right as well as up and down which I can work around, but in timesplitters 2 and a most multiplayer games, the second controller is active but not detected so I cant play anything with more that one controller. I push start and everything but the 2nd player doesn't detect. Is this just an issue with this build? Thanks in advance. 07-18-2015, 01:25 PM
Full speed in games like Mario sunshine, metroid prime and smash bros.
Are wii games out of the question?

Quick update. I haven't tested out builds for a few weeks now, but I just tested Super Mario Sunshine on 4.0-7026 and the black screen of death issues seem to be gone now! Great work whoever did that. I haven't tested other games out yet, but I probably will soon.
ganon: Only games with native GameCube controller support have the potential of working (I've tested about 10-15 of them, and only two worked so far for me). It would be nice if some simplistic emulated Wiimote controls could be added so that we could test tons of other Wii games out, but I don't think the Android devs have any plans on implementing them soon. 07-20-2015, 08:14 AM
degasus found and fixed the blackscreen issue.
It was a dumb thing that I missed in the recompiler. |
