blikblum: the thing is, the "selected adapter" in dolphin's settings has nothing to do with the gpu actually being used. It is controlled by the driver. Adapter=1 is always wrong because the driver is actually only exposing 1 gpu at a time, there is no ability to select.

Well, it doesn't work for me... I have to Right Click > Run on NVIDIA GPU or add an entry for Dolphin in nVidia Control Panel... Using the latest nVidia drivers for windows
In the graphics config dialog, if I run Dolphin normally, it lists only Intel HD 4000, if I run through context menu, it lists only nVidia GT635M...
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 32 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)
ASRock Z97M OC Formula: Pentium G3258, GeForce GT 440, 16 GB DDR3-1600, Windows 10 (22H2) 09-11-2013, 02:49 PM
I don't know how more clear I can be:
The list that dolphin presents you is not related to what's actually being used. |
