Current Quad Core K1 can't run game at full speed (not even close lol , lagging everywhere) . Why even bother ?
Why not just wait for the new Super Core K1 64bit (dual core) . It will be 2 times as fast as Quad K1 since Dolphin is a dual core application
Not to mention current Dolphin - Android version's game compatibility is ....You know higher game compatibility will result in higher system requirement in the near future . Quad K1 is dead at this point

Its just so Damn cheep man, and I don't have a tablet at the moment. I let the Mrs have my ipad air.. The performace looked pretty sweet on double dash though I must say. I did see the lag in other games, but its a huge improvement, Its good to see Nvidia stepping up to teh plate.

I go through new tech like water, and I haven't had a new toy in a while :-)

The dual core K1 looks awesome though. It would be nice to see it in a new shield but I doubt that will happen if they release in a month or two.

No manufacturer have used new dual core K1 yet since it's just released this month . Better give OEM manufacturer sometime to catch up with new technology
Btw , Quad K1 power consumption is beast , it will not be available on smartphone . However , Nvidia said that dual core version will be aimed for high end "superphone" market

I know. patience is a virtue that I have in short supple at the moment :-)

I don't think I'd be particularly bothered about having a K1 at all in a phone. A tablet or a shield like device is a different matter all together.

Yeah... Step in the right direction though :-) Hopefully they will continue the trend next year with the K1 64bit.

Looks like a nice tablet though... I think 7" was a bit small for me anyway. I would like to see a 64gb option now though.

I kind of hope they hold off on the sheild now until the 64bit dual core version is availiable. Having said that I just picked up a load of games in the steam sale that are dying to be streamed lol

meh! xiaomi is a nice company.. the hardware in that tablet is not bad at all and the tablet itself had a post on nvidia website (which mean they approved the device... IMO)

Yeah I saw that they are actually reporting the 64bit version of K1 in this tablet... To be honest I thought that it was just a misprint as we haven't even seen anything ship with the 32bit version yet. Lets keep our fingers crossed for some news at Google IO then.
