Hi everyone, I would normally not post this here but I figured since this community would know better than I do I would go and ask for help, and also since I didn't want to create profile over at Nvidia forums just to ask this question. This has me completely baffled for three days now and I've yet to find a solution. I installed a PC game three days ago and everything is fine. So I was going to open Nvidia Control Panel to make some GPU adjustments and turns out it won't open now. I've looked up this issue and tried their suggestions on it. I've re-installed Nvidia drivers, closed out all NVidia instances running in the background, restart and nothing. It is also suggested to do a cleanup on the NVidia registries and re-install Nvidia completely, the same for I-GPU but I am not sure if this is a good idea as I would loose my Dolphin profile. I am suspecting the PC game I've installed messed up the graphics drivers as I see that the installer included DX10 and vcredist, could these be the culprits that messed it all up since I used to have DX11 installed? I don't know much about graphic drivers so any help would be appreciated in this if anyone experienced this before.

Try reinstalling / repairing your Visual C++ installs.

VC++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013

As you can see, there's loads of them, and there's service packs and you need both x86 and x64 versions. I have used 3rd party All-In-One packages for this without issue however be careful if you do not get these files from the official Microsoft site (takes forever, easy to miss some installs, non-intuitive).

Interesting. The PC game can't have broken it. The vcredist will simply overwrite when it finds the same version installed or sometimes it simply doesn't install when it finds a up to date version.
The DX redist will simply install the DX10 binaries and shouldn't break anything either.

How did you uninstall your NVIDIA drivers?
Try uninstalling with DDU, reboot and reinstall the drivers.
If you have messed with your vc redist installations then grab the all-in-one installer and install that first.

I figured that since I've re-installed Nvidia drivers and that would just replace them which resulted in nothing. I will just have to uninstall the drivers with that DDU tool you provided Garteal since I haven't done that yet and wanted to make sure it was safe first before I mess anything up. How do I know if I have messed with the vcredist? Mind the stupid question.

If you've done manual uninstalls then you have messed with it. Though to be sure you can always install it after you've checked if it works with a clean driver install and if not, then check your event logs and see if anything fails (to run) there.
