hello,

for play with dolphin i think buy nvidia 430 gt 1 Go Vs my embedded ati 4200 hd500 Mo, is a good choice ?

Ati 4200 HD embedded for working etc...
6 Go DDR2
Squeeze Debian amd 64 / sometime xp 32 ( dual boot )
HDMI on tv, cool for game Rolleyes

Yes it's fine as long as you leave efb scaled copy, AA, and pixel lighting off.

GT 430 is the more advanced card so it should run much better than the HD 4200

ya, because gt430 is actual card with dedicated memory.

hd4200 is integrated-gpu chip on motherboard, shared virtual memory. not actual graphics card

Ok i test this day, i think HD4200 is a notebook vidéo card.

great config 2 vidéo card, 2 Xorg ...

OK, speed is more good on linux 64, but on windows xp 32 is little fastest....

probleme sound HDMI ( fermi ), seem not support for kernel < 2.6.33 and squeeze have 2.6.32.5.

very good speed on mario 50 fps, before 15/29 max.
