Wiimote and Nunchuck - RVL-CNT-01

When I try to play games it says to connect a nunchuck to the wiimote. The Wiimote responds I can press Home and the menu comes up, but the game won't detect my nunchuck. I tried windows BT and now using Toshiba's BT. Please how do I get my nunchuck to detect so I can play? thanks for your time.

Is your Wiimote an official one? If not then your Nunchuk is even more likely to fail

Hi, yes they are official both. The odd thing is, i got it to work for skyward sword and made a state save and also in-game. But now when i try to resume from insave it doesnt regonise the nunchuck being connected. But if i load the state-save it works fine. However this means i can't play any games from in-save or a new game from scratch.

Savestates cause weird issues like this. Use the "portable.txt" trick and start with a fresh build. Play skyward a little, save (ingame only), then come back. It should be fine. Let me know the results of that test and I'll tell you how to isolate the skyward sword saves so you can keep the rest of your stuff.

$17 for a wiimote plus and nunchuk? Yeeeaaaa, that's probably a knockoff. You bought this?

EDIT:

[Image: $T2eC16RHJI!E9qSO8mt9BR)7Q1ZH0Q~~60_3.JPG]

DEFINITELY a knockoff. The texture of the plastic is wrong, the CE stuff is on the wrong side for a Wiimote Plus (and too bright), there is a weird film thing on top of it, the RVL code on the back is RVL-003 (original wiimote) instead of RVL-036 (Wiimote Plus), on and on and on. It's a pretty convincing knockoff until you compare it with the real thing.

Same deal here. Looks more or less normal, until you compare to a real one. The texture of the plastic is definitely off, way too shiny. Same for the cord. Could be a trick of the camera, but I doubt it, to make matte plastic look like that would require blowing out the shiny bits, which they aren't. There is also some sort of disconnect between the plug and the cord, I have no idea what that's about.

Oh so its fake alright. I'm wondering I am able to play games that don't require nunchuck (sideways wiimote) do you think if I buy an original nunchuck it will work then?

I don't think so, I think it is mostly the wiimotes fault
