Nunchuck Issue

Dolphin isn't recognizing my nunchuck. I have a bog standard wiimote official nintendo controller. I constantly get "please connect Nunchuck" in games I'm trying to play.

I'm using the latest version of Dolphin (as of four days ago) and the wiimote connects perfectly fine through my bluetooth adapter. Though I can't use windows to configure it.

I'm currently using Windows 7 X64
Computer stats: Asus G74SX-TH1
i7 2670qm 12 gb of ddr3 1333 ram, Geforce GTX 560m 3gb gddr 5 ram. Atheros AR9002 wireless card+2.1 bluetooth.

I've never had any problems with the nunchuck, so it's probably not a Dolphin issue.

Here are some things you can try that may help:

- When the please connect nunchuck message appears, press Alt+F5 twice to reconnect your Wiimote
- Do the above, but reconnect the nunchuck before connecting your Wiimote again
- Are you using the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack? This is what I use and it works fine. Others have had success with the Toshiba stack.
- How far are you from your computer and is there anything blocking the path between your Wiimote and your computer? Try to minimize interference and distance if possible.
- What bluetooth adapter are you using? You might have success with another.
- There's a small chance it might actually be the nunchuck or wiimote. Have you tried playing the games on a real Wii? Have you tried using different Wiimote / Nunchuck combinations.
- Although it's very unlikely that this could cause issues, exit any programs that are not related to Dolphin and see if the problem still occurs.

I've done all of those things except for the bluetooth stack thing. As neither the Toshiba nor the Microsoft stacks are compatible with my current built in bluetooth adapter (an Atheros AR9002 wireless card). I've tried an Intel Centrino 1030 but it couldn't even detect the wiimote and had bluetooth problems with other peripherals. It's a standard original wiimote brandnew. So there is nothing wrong it it.

I had trouble in the past with the built-in bluetooth in my laptop, so I would recommend trying a USB bluetooth dongle. There is a list here of bluetooth devices that are known to work, but it might be outdated. Most newer bluetooth dongles should work, and will be compatible with the Microsoft stack, which might be your problem.

i have the same problem with a nun original Controler + Nunchuck. Controler works great, but Nunchuck doesnt

I've checked my nunchuck with two different wiis now. It works fine with them, so this is a problem with either my computer or dolphin. Any suggestions please...
