Nunchuck input stuck

Been Trying to play Super Mario galaxy using hybrid wiimote setup for mouse as IR as I lack a wireless or other PC compatible sensor bar (legit wiimote and legit nunchuck), however, when the game starts, Mario simply keeps running to the right (or immediately crouches) as if I'm touching the joystick, which I am not, until I unplug the nunchuck from the wiimote and the game tells me to reconnect. Doing so causes the error to reappear the moment I unpause. Any ideas on how to fix?


EDIT: offchance this is important, setup is:
Program ver.: Dolphin 4.0-1077
OS: Win7 Ultimate 64bit
CPU: intel Core i7-4770k
GPU: EVGA GTX 660SC
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z87
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 (2x4GB)


EDIT2: Trying to rip SSBB ISO to see if same issue is there

EDIT3: Using a completely emulated wiimote works correctly also

Same issue in brawl with both genuine and nyko nunchucks

That happened to me the other day in Galaxy, and unplugging and replugging the nunchuk fixed it.

Tried that a few times, glitch starts up again the moment I reconnect it
