Nunchaku problem

I spent the last 3-4 hours getting the Wiimote to work. Finally now, with Windows bluetooth, it connected, and it works! However if I connect the nunchaku, like I am trying to do to play zelda, the nunchaku just keeps vibrating nonstop, and it won't let me get past the "plug nunchaku in" screen on Zelda.

It is an official Nintendo nunchuck if that matters, the wiimote is official wii with motion plus built in.

thanks!

edit: just tried super mario galaxy 2 and the nunchuck worked fine? why can't I get past that screen on zelda?

Try disabling Wiimote Speaker, and press Alt+F5 sometimes while running the game to reconnect the Wiimote...

1. Nunchuks don't vibrate.
2. Which Zelda game?
3. What is the actual message shown at the "plug nunchaku in" screen?

well I just got back from work and now it's working fine hmm, thanks though! side note how do you go about turning off the wiimote? do you just remove it on the bluetooth control? or is there a way to do it from dolphin maybe a hotkey?

thanks!

yeah I originally had a Nyko one, so I took it back and got a regular, and edited my post. It didn't vibrate after I switched it, and now since I got off work it happens to be working fine! thank you for the response.

how do you turn off your wiimotes? I disabled in bluetooth but then I couldn't get it working again until I shut down PC and re-connected to bluetooth

thanks

To turn off a Wii Remote, just hold the remote's power button for a second. It won't close your game or anything, we don't emulate that part.

Awesome! I could have swore I tried that, but I did it now and it worked great, thanks a lot.
