WEll, I tried the recommended settings. the only option I couldn't find was the Quad..Quan.. Quantisizers, that's it.. well, I couldn't find that so I don't know if it's disabled or not.. but anyways, I can play, but the videos are unwatchable for me because the video is much slower than the sound, and thus the video takes twice as long as the sound to finish, causing the cutscenes to be very out of sync.. and thus unwatchable for me. D:

I can get past the cut scenes being out of synch. I'm struggling with the random black screens found in this thread:

Has anyone actually gotten through the game? If so what settings did you use? I've turned on/off virtually all options in both the DX9 & OpenGL settings, but keep running into this problem.

Over the past week I tried multiple SVNs and changed settings as much as possible, but I'm still getting the black screens of death when the levels transition
An example that was called out in this thread (http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-11905.html) is after you beat the helicopter, Joe heads downstairs and we're supposed to get a level transition, but I'm getting locked up in a black screen every time.

Hopefully someone out there has a configuration that can get past these?
