Getting some serious slowdown here as well. The FPS drops like a rock when enemies are on the screen. Using 4984 in D3D.

Make sure to disable the idle skipping. HUGE speed up and makes it actually watchable
Heh, Daco will like this 'fix'.
The game is indeed perfectly emulated by Dolphin... If you turn off idle skipping like jimleko said. Intro and menu may be a bit too fast, but in-game, everything moves as it should and FPS is constant 60. So you can pass that pesky tutorial in under a min and start playing. 06-24-2010, 08:07 AM
Did you update your DirectX and Visual C++? That's not going to help the fact that you can't see the options, but it might help the black screen.
P.S. don't use Dolphin 2.0, use the latest revision. download the latest one from time to time from here: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html iMac (late 2007 model) Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T7700 @ 2.40GHz ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT Windows 7 x86/32-bit 06-30-2010, 12:53 PM
