NTSC to PAL GCI-save conversion?

Is there a way or a piece of software to convert NTSC GameCube saves in GCI format into PAL?

You could try to manually do it with a hex editor.
Compare a PAL save with an NTSC save and look for differences in the beginning of the file.
I have successfully done this with a few Wii game saves.
I think only 4 bytes needed to be changed in save file header.
It might depend on the game if it will work or not.
