I'm having the same half-speed issue. Not a hardware issue, everything runs fine. The game will also glitch out and crash at the end of dialogue scenes. Not sure what the issue is.

Not sure what the issue is. UPDATE: Reinstalling the code and activating the run speed code fixed that issue. The game still crashes at the end of dialogue scenes and after getting the last quest from the multi-quest givers, along with large hitches in battle, making the game unplayable in 60 FPS. First time with a lot of gecko codes so at least I learned something. Even with the latest Dolphin and everything my 2600K and 1080ti will get 60 most of the time, but then it drops to 30 or whatever when running in certain places mostly because of the other codes it seems. I absolutely need to use the draw distance codes as I cannot play games like this anymore that load stuff in 4 feet in front of me. This game looks old for sure, and without the HD pack and other codes it just doesn't do it for me. The texture pack is definitely nice, but performance is a major issue with all the stuff together. It's not too bad at all without the other codes, but as soon as I start putting in a couple other codes for draw distance it tanks the thing. Without those codes, especially the object code, things look terrible. I should mention I am playing in 4K. I could try 1440p, but honestly I don't think this game really holds up all that well from a tech stand point, and I have too many games to play as it is. 04-14-2019, 02:15 PM
When I play Xenoblade, I like to play on Dolphin on my shared PC, but when someon else is using it, I like to play on play on the wii instead. Because of that, I have an emunand on my SD card that both USB loader gx and Dolphin are configured to use. So I can just take the SD out of my pc, into my wii, and it just works.
However, you mention that the code only needs to be run once and then it somehow stores(?) itself in the save file. If this is correct, then when I pop my card into my real wii, would it try to run 60fps and lag like hell? If so, is there a way to avoid this? Sorry if this has been asked already, but I couldn't find anything about it. 04-15-2019, 09:42 PM
Hullo! I wanted to say thank you for this brilliant piece of work. It's filled a little hole in my heart that I didn't know what to do about. This is beautiful work especially with the HD package (putting my high end PC to good work!), streaming it over Steamlink to the TV with the kids - it's all really something else. I'd never experienced this game before and it's nice to play it before number 2 on the Switch. My son is starting on the SNES classic with old Mario now; I'm looking forward to him eventually graduating to this on the Wii.
A couple of queries: Can anyone link me to exactly where it's explained about whether I'm supposed to disable the entire code (doesn't make sense to me) or a single line (exactly which one) after running the code in game? My performance is already great, though I had to switch from synchronous to asynchronous ubershaders to cater to audio stuttering that happens when I'm in the map view (playing on 1440p x4 native resolution with x2 SSAA). Using OpenGL for G-sync - Direct3D worked for G-sync until a few days ago, not sure why I have to use OpenGL now but hey. There's also a curious bug where it doubles my play time. It doesn't look like it's doubling the speed of the in game day clock, though. Is there any way to fix this? Not that it really matters. 08-06-2019, 12:46 PM
Hi there, registered just to ask this.....how you got to solve the symbols on the executable? Asking because I wanted to make a controller hacking myself and only found one relevant function name to what I wanted (WPADProbe). Do you have more symbols? If you don't, how you got those? Fully RE? Thanks!

Olá, pessoal!! Me desculpa se eu não falo inglês/English, então por favor use a tradução automática (Google Translate or Automatic Translation from Chrome browser).
ENGLISH TRANSLATION: Hello guys!! Sorry if I don't speak English, so please use automatic translation (Google Translate or Automatic Translation from Chrome browser). And don't worry, you can answer/quote me using your language naturally and I'll use automatic translation. Or if you want, for your joy, I'll leave it translated into English (using Google translator, obviously) halfway through this post until the end, ok. Now let's get down to business!! I joined this forum to help you guys, because I have the original disc of the European version (PAL) of Xenoblade Chronicles!! My version is a PAL bundle that comes with Classic Controller Pro in red. It's beautiful, but I don't like the Pro model, I prefer the regular Classic. And believe it or not, I did the test using all the code that user holychimpanz posted, only without comments (of course), which is this: Code: A8000000 00000000 The test was done on my Wii, already modified to use the imported GC and Wii games on my Wii. To use the code, I used the ARtoOcarina tool to place codes and generate a GCT file and import it to the SD card. The app I used to run the Wii disc with cheat is WiiLauncher, which is the alternative GeckoOS for Wii mode (I haven't tested another app yet, so if necessary, let me know which one I should use for the next tests). The game ran normally and I noticed on the title screen that it feels like 60 fps (frames per second - for english is frames per second - fps). I loaded one of the saves and started at the entrance to Bionis' leg. I did a quick test (about 45 minutes), because it was kind of late and I need to sleep, but tomorrow I'll test with more time or daily that I'll inform you here little by little. So I will give the following report after the quick test. Another suggestion of mine is that I will make some videos to demonstrate the test results, if necessary, for better understanding/analysis, so it will help some of you to have an idea and know what codes are needed for such corrections, ok. ENGLISH TRANSLATION: Supported!! I also have the original disc of the European version (PAL) and I joined it precisely for this reason I will help by doing the tests. 09-17-2022, 04:28 AM
Is there a way to disable "auto camera follow" through cheat codes or mods?
