Hello guys!

I just bought a notebook (I7-2630qm - GTX-560m - 8Gb DDR3).

The problem is that i cant pass 40 fps... even my other laptop (ACER 4745 - i3 - intel hd - 3 Gb DDR2) can run it better than this... I dont know what im doing wrong.

I already searched, researched and tried many revisions and different configurations, from videos to forum threads, and im not being able to have a nice gameplay.

There is a strange point, that Dolphin maintain 37-42 fps from the lowest to the highest settings...

U guys know something that i could be missing? There are any right revision to try? Any advice?

(Ps.: In advance, sorry for my english... are not my first language!)

Wow, this pc on this thread is pretty close from my note!

With your settings and "lock threads to cores" from dannzen I got 3 more fps's... now, we got 45fps on 3.0.

ExtremeDude2

Ive tryed many! See below (in order of framerate Big Grin):

R7594
3.0
3.0-377
R6505
R6515
2.0
3.0-370-g31ff190_L102_x64_ICC
3.0-377
3.0-408
3.0-407
R7719
R4758
R6266
R6298
R7331

All of them I tryed the settings below that, apparently, worked better:

General

Dual Core
Idle Skipping
Framelimit Off
JIT Recompiler

Audio

DSP HLE emulation
Enable DRKI Music

Wii

Use EuRGB60 Mode (PAL60)
Aspect Ratio 16:9

Graphics

General

Direct3D9
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560m
1600x900
Auto
Show Fps

Enhancements

Any internal Resolution gave me the same result
Anti-Aliasing none
16x
Scaled EFB
Per-pixel Lightning
Force Texture Filering

Hacks

Ignore Format Changes
EFB copies Texture
Texture Cache Safe
External frame buffer virtual
Fast Mipmaps
Disabel Per-pixel Depth

Advanced

None

Ok, ive tested my cpu temps with RealTemp (in Admin89's post)...

Minimum

45 42 45 43

Maximum

54 48 50 50

Thermal Status

Yes it is Wink

There are some things you could probably change (that may or may not help):

Use EuRGB60 Mode (PAL60) <--off (depends on if your playing the PAL or NTSC version)
Per-pixel Lightning <-- off

Thanks Zee,

The external frame buffer setted to virtual works really well here... i lost 10 fps disableing it! :o

I just found that VBEAM (on "per game" settings) helps NSMB to run accurate... I got 50-52 fps now!

Were getting better... just more 8 fps... Big Grin
