I am also being displayed with a NSIS Error when trying to install Dolphin. When I try to run the installer I am displayed with "installer integrity check has failed. common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installers author to obtain a new copy." i have tried downloading and installing Dolphin 5.0, 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 with no luck. i have used Google Chrome, Firefox and Edge but get the same error message every time i try to run the installer. Any given help to my situation is greatly appreciated.
when using Firefox to download dolphin i was faced with the same problem this guy is having https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-er...#pid419340 08-11-2016, 02:15 AM
Thanks for the details. It sounds like there's a problem with the Dolphin website that gives you a truncated or otherwise incorrect file. I suggest discussing it in the topic that you linked to, since it's in the Site Feedback and Questions forum.

I am having this same exact problem. The only versions I can download are 3.0 and 3.5. If I try to download the file from Edge I receive a message saying the download could not be completed, which results in a partial download file in my downloads. I have tried Chrome as well, which gives me a file that appears complete, however I receive an NSIS error.

Their seems to be multiple people having similar problems recently. I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that it may not be a problem on our side but a problem with the file. I could be wrong however.

This problem is due to downloading an incomplete (thus corrupt) installation of Dolphin.
There are multiple threads on this exact topic, so let's keep it in one place. |
