Where you got this from? Mali driver is broken on S7 Nougat, both GL/VK. Note 5 haven't even got Nougat and driver likely will be broken on Nougat too.

Unlikely, the only known builds that include r15p0 are the supposed S6 and Note 5 updates (along with the Exynos powered A series from last year).  The S7 will receive driver updates when they jump to 7.1.  The S8 will likely be the absolute latest drivers, probably r16p0 even.

Yea, it's just he was claiming "it's fixed" but it isn't. S7, yep likely 7.1. As for S8, it'll have new driver, not based on r15/r16 as it's a new G71 GPU. Mate 9 (G71) have v1.r2p0

Will they release new drivers for low-end GPUs like Mali T720MP2?

BiFrost has a seperate driver revision, however I haven't heard that it's actually different from the Midgard drivers

All Midgard GPU's get driver updates. However your model does not support certain advanced features, meaning ES 3.2 and more advanced Vulkan capabilities are locked out. Also, if you have a GPU like that you likely have A53 cores which means your device will always suck for dolphin

I'm not interested in running Dolphin on my current phone, I know it's impossible because it has x86 Android. But I suspect I'm having performance issue on PPSSPP because of bad drivers, maybe new drivers could improve the performance even a little. Smile
