I am trying to play Wind Waker with my PS4 controller connected with DS4Windows. My problem is that for some reason nothing happens when I try to use my controller in the game. It works in all my other programs including Dolphin menus. Is there anyway to fix this?

Did you configure the controller as an emulated GameCube controller in slot 1? If you did and it doesn't work, please take a screenshot of the controller mapping window and post it here.

The device seems to be selected correctly, but you haven't mapped the buttons and sticks to the gamepad yet. They're at their keyboard defaults.

I mapped my controller in ds4windows https://i.gyazo.com/fb449ef9cd003c63a768...907fe5.png and it works with other emulators. how would i map it for dolphin
If you want to to it with ds4windows, set the Device to your keyboard instead of your controller. However, I recommend mapping your controller in Dolphin without using ds4windows, because otherwise you won't be able to use the sticks as analog controls. Click on the button you want to map, press the button on the gamepad that you want to use for it, then repeat that for all the other buttons.
EDIT: At least I hope configuring it in Dolphin without ds4windows works... I don't know what drivers you have installed or what drivers a DS4 needs, but if it works as a gamepad (not a keyboard) when you're not using ds4windows, it should work in Dolphin. |
