Normal OC temperatures?

Automatic Overclocks ALWAYS give you a much higher voltage than ever necessary..

Just recently set up a 4.4GHz O/C at 1.19v Been running stable for a bit. Was at 4.5GHz/1.235v.

If you want to OC there are easy to follow tuts for your MOBO.

I have an ASUS z87m-Plus and i5-4670k. My first chip and venture in to overclocking.

Oh yes it will work fine. What I'm saying is he shouldn't go much lower than that. That's already a fairly low voltage for that chip. He also never said anywhere that he was using an auto-OC feature.

If that's been 24 hour stress tested and passed then you did very well. You have an exceptionally good chip if it's stable at those voltages/clock rates.

I'm actually at 1.2V right now, think I can push the OC a bit further with this voltage?
EDIT: I got it to 4.4GHz, however in CPU-Z the multiplier keeps changing along with the voltage when it's not under load, when under load it does stay at a constant 1.2V and 4.4GHz frequency, I take this is normal right?

@NaturalViolence He said that he used OC genie. And if you check the screenshot that is over 1.215 for a mere 4.0 GHz ; Hell even a potato can overclock better than that.

As I said, I disabled OC Genie and overclocked it manually up to 4.4GHz using the same 1.2V

That is normal. Plus in fact that is an amazing overclock if stable.
You should always test without all the power saving features and re-enable them whenever you find the perfect overclock.

I like to take a long approach to overclocking and test what is the lowest undervoltage I can give to stock clock and move the multiplier up one and retest the voltage and make a table.
Eventually you will come across a single step up on the multiplier that requires a substantial increase in voltage; this is the best place to put your overclock essentially. IE. the one before the large increase.
Make sure to test with some stressing utility like "IntelBurnTest" for ~25 minutes everytime. Any more than 25 minutes is too time-consuming for checking every step.

Edit: Oh and I think your idle temps(min) are high but that is probably because to test that you would have to be sitting at the desktop for a while

Your OC is really nice, and yes it is indeed nromal to have your multiplier change when it's not being used that much, it's to lower the tdp and lower heat and whatnot. I managed to get 4.7GHz @ 1.345V on my 4690k, i wasn't that lucky with my processor but i am enjoying that clock speed, the voltage is a bit too high for me but im not worried about it. As for your temps, your temps are nromal, in my opinion at least, for that specific cooler. ofc i am using a watercooler but yea lol

I use Aida64. It's a pay to use, but there is a trial that does the job. Just run stability test and stress only CPU for 24 hours. Don't just leave the computer, stay with it the first hour or so. Just got done with mine. Stable at 4.4GHz and 1.19v. Yours is a nice overclock too. Considering that some users report higher voltage at the same speed.
