Hi Smile

I never used Dolphin before.

I'd like to know if it would be possible to install Dolphin on my Windows 10 x64 PC and play my Wii games using Nintendo Switch Joycons instead of Wiimotes.
If yes, would I still require a Dolphin bar or could it rely on Bluetooth only?

Are there any tutorials anywhere that could walk me through setting that up?

My system is the following:
- R5 5600G
- GTX 1060 6GB
- 32GB DDR4 3600MT
- PCIe Gen3 SSDs (M.2)

Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Best,
-a-

Your PC should be well suited for this,
You do not need a Dolphin bar for Joycons, but a program like better joy.

Your PC is more than capable to do this.

Thanks guys.

I'm currently in the process of setting up Dolphin.
My 1st question would be about the graphics backend.
All I know so far is wehat the guys from the Yuzu emulator have told me. They recomend Vulkan as a first approach and then try other settings (OpenGL) on a per-game basis if I encounter graphical issues.

What about in Dolphin? ShouldI follow the same guideline? I notice the default backend is OGL, so...

With Dolphin, having different graphical issues depending on the background isn't much of a thing. It's more a question of which one will give you the best performance. Try the different ones and see which one runs the best – or if the first one you try runs well, feel free to stick with that one.

Direct3D 11. I don't know if it's the very best one for me, but it's good enough at least.
