noob question, no directx plugin, using inno3d 275 GTX, but dx11

-im running directx 11, do i really need revert back to directx 9 for it to work?

-also does directx plugin makes game run faster rather than opengl?



im using


amd athlon ii x4 2.6ghz
2gb ddr3 ram
inno3d gtx 275 1gb oc edition

it will not revers back you will continue using dx 11 but you will get some old plug in that dolphin need dont change anything to install it

You don't need to revert back to dx9. You need to install dx9 in addition to having dx11.
The DirectX plugin is faster than the OpenGL plugin for most people.

I agree with that, but it may also give more graphical errors than OpenGL Wink.

Not that it matters but just so you know your gpu does not support dx11. GTX275 is based off of GT200b which lacks the tessellation hardware needed to run dx11.

There's no video card that uses dx11 only dx10, but your computer thinks you have dx11 if you type dxdiag in the run windows (start --> run) and then press enter or OK...

Just wanted to explain :p.

well all games seems to be running smooth on opengl for me, im using 1920x1080 resolution.. im just wondering why i dont have the directx plugin.. ill try to install directx 9 and see what happens thanks for the replies man
