Hello, everyone.

Lately, I become so obsessed wtih one of WII titles, I wanted to start a translation project in my language for it. Although I have some IT background, my knowledge about game hacking or patching is close to zero, and even my google skills is not enough to find answers - mostly thanks to the fact I'm not sure which questions I need to ask.

So the question is: where should i start? Are there a wii hacking community out there, with some FAQs and guides? Are there any tools more powerful than a basic hex-editor? May be there is a place, where I could find typical wii-related game files structure, or compression methods. Or may be there's no such thing as fast start, and I should begin with some SNES ROM patching?

Any help is appreciated.

Which game is it? Each game stores text differently, if you give us an idea about how its stored we could point you to someone.
The only person I know to talk to is Tomato: tomato@starmen.net
He's the translator of Mother 3.
