So my controller won't stop vibrating when I plug it in. for the first 5 minutes or so it works fine but then it randomly starts vibrating. so I unplug the controller and that works for a minute or so but then it fucks up again and starts vibrating again. What do I do?https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/images/smilies/huh.gif

What controller do you have and what do your controller settings in Dolphin look like?

Also does it vibrate in game or in the set up menu, or just 5 minutes after you plug it in and have nothing to do with dolphin?

If I understand you correctly once dolphin comes on it starts to vibrate. If you unplug the usb and plug it back in, it stops vibrating until you start a game, open the GCpad setup menu, or restart Dolphin? Additionally if Dolphin has not yet run the controller will not vibrate.
If this is all true then the issue is the way the controller is reading FFB commands. A driver may fix this... If this is not true please make corrections to the above scenarios I typed. ![]() main page Working controllers 05-27-2014, 10:09 AM

If I unplug the usb and plug it back in no matter what it will start vibrating later. Additionally if Dolphin has not yet run the controller will not vibrate.
That is by far a bizarre one but I'm going to have to forecast its a driver issue. I dont know much about that controller but if you get me some detail I may find a solution. More importantly is it driver based (did it come with drivers), did you install them? What OS are you on have you check Dolphin 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 (do that all act the same).

So I have a black official gamecube controller hooked up through a mayflash adapter, the one with a game cube port, xbox port, and a ps2 port, it did come with a driver disc and it was a small disc but the cd drive I have pulls the disc in so it couldn't be inserted as it couldn't trigger the sensor. I am on windows 7 and I am running dolphin 4.0-648. In addition I used a ps2 controller with it and it worked great. Here is a link to the adapter if that helps http://mayflash.com/Products/PCUSB/PC035.html
Ah good old Mayflash. It's very well know around here that mayflash has had their fair share of issues. However I do believe they have fixed most of them via driver updates. Your first step would be to contact them and get the latest drivers. If I understand that last post right, ps2 vibrate is ok and GC is the one with troubles? If so its not a dolphin issue. To make a psx shake you send data to the controller, to make a GC shack you flip a bit in the poll string. Meaning GC is on or off, psx is a bit more involved. Looks to me like mayflash had a bug where they didn't turn off the GC controller (hence it does not stop). I think all of your issues can be resolved by contacting them.
