Ok so I started with that common "VCOMP100.dll" error, and I fixed it easily enough by downloading that pack the faq recommends. But it still refuses to open, only now its a generic "Dolphin encountered a problem and has to close" etc etc. I still haven't seen the damn thing open! I'm just a CLASSIC Resident Evil nut who wants to try the RE 1 remake they made on gamecube. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated! I have attached a screenshot of the error. All I do it double click the .exe.

I've seen this sort of error before. Most likely, it's because your CPU is outdated. Dolphin needs a CPU that supports SSE2. Your profile doesn't show what exact CPU model you have, but it probably isn't any good for playing Dolphin. At 1.8 GHz, even if you could play Dolphin, it'd be quite slow, and far from fun. If you really want to use Dolphin, it's time for an upgrade.

Thank you! I'll just buy a GameCube lol.
