Hello,

I've just tried to connect my NOLO unit to my NVIDIA Shield TV. I have the base station hooked up to one of the USB ports on the back and my two NOLO controllers connected to it (as you do with NOLO).

I'm not sure if my Shield does NOT know what to do with the base station except for power it. Naturally I tried connecting just the head tracker to it and running NOLO the same way you would on other Android devices. Of course, this did not work either.

I'm going to keep working on this as I want to be able to use my NOLO VR unit for motion controller emulation on my Shield. I haven't tried it yet, but apparently Dolphin on PC supports VIVE controllers and NOLO can be emulated to work there.

Has anyone else tried anything to get NOLO to run on Dolphin for Android (specifically on the NVIDIA Shield TV)?

Um, nope. We don't support Vive controllers. Where did you hear that?

I was told on a VR forum elsewhere that Dolphin VR supports the VIVE controllers. Is that not true? I never did looked it up.

That might very well be true, but Dolphin is not the same as Dolphin VR. We only support the former here.

Ok, I didn't think there was a difference. I thought dolphin VR was just what VR mode was referred to in normal dolphin. Sorry for my lack of knowledge and thank you for clearing that up.

Dolphin VR is a fork that violates our license and the Oculus SDK license. We can't support it here, sorry.

Also, just so I am clear, I hope it was obvious, but I do not want "VR" on my shield, just these VR intended motion controllers to work as emulated Wii remotes (or nunchuck).
