No Wii game saves

I played a few worlds of New Super Mario Bros. Wii only to realize that the game didn't save when I closed it. I did press quick save but dolphin didn't save like it does for gamecube games. I am running dolphin 3.5 because most of my games didn't run in 4.0. Thanks for your help

New Super Mario Bros. Wii offers to save at periodic intervals, and you use "quick save" if you want to leave earlier before the main game saves. This is just how the game works.

Aaaaand 3.5 is unsupported. Closed.
