Thats exactly what i'm thinking Guin. We just have to wait on shuffle2 or hyrdgard to hopefully fix this or revert 4505. Hopefully it won't take to long to revert it back. Make sure you tell hyrdgard on issue 1624 Guin if you haven't already.

Seems Ector now knows that something is broken with windows 32 bit on latest commits after 4505. Just a update that the problem still exist and is still hindering windows 32 bit users. Issue 1624 is where people need to state there system and specs so hrydgard, shuffle2 and ector can go back and fix issues for memory management for windows 32 bit users. A FYI. If you on a windows 32 bit system and keep having dolphin crash when you start a game turn on panic handlers and you will probably see the "No Possible Memory Base Pointer Found" error. If so list computer information in Issue 1624 for developers to see.

Update for people who might not be following the commits of Issue 1624. The error is steming from something wrong with the Dolphin.ini file in your Config folder. (user/config). A Workaround has been found by neakmen. If you remove the dolphin.ini file the emulator will make a new ini file for you and your games will work. You will have to redo a couple settings such as settings pathways for where your isos are located. Its a weird workaround but works just a tad bit tedious to do everytime you want to play a GC game. For me atleast Wii games have now started to work. I grabbed orleans 4586 build and they work just fine. Just a update for anyone getting this error or who may be suffering 100% crashes off GC games on dolphin after svn 4505. (Click panic handles and if you get "no possible memory base pointer" then you suffering from this problem. Again this seems to only affect windows xp 32 bit users.

I still got this issue for windows xp. I get a performance loss when runnign vista so I am hoping for a fix for windows xp which everything runs fine. Wii games are fine and don't have a problem like the Gamecube does unless I keep deleting the dolphin.ini file and restart.

hello,

i have this issue too when playing GC games, but it happens only if i double clik a game on the list(after using "browse"). If i click open and then search for the iso i want to play, i don't have this error.
