Got all the bugs worked out of the WII Remote except the big one.
It will not move the cursor
Got all the buttons on the Wii Remote to work, and not affecting my other controllers.
However it still will not move the cursor during game play.
I have hooked my sensor bar to the WII, put it on top of my monitor. Tried the two candle trick. Used
flashlights, etc, etc. Even tried two different WII remotes.
But it still does not move the cursor.
Obviously the WII controller works as far as buttons, but the motion sensor does not.
Any thoughts

Something must be wrong with the sensor bar, but I'm not sure what...

Does the sensor bar work when you're using your Wii?

Is the Wii turned on?

If the Wii is actually a Wii U, are you running it in Wii Mode?

Which game are you trying to play?

Be aware you need to be pretty far away from the sensor bar for it to work. (about 2 meters).

Don't think it is the sensor bar. I tried using the candles as well. And they do not work either.

All the games do not work.
This may be my issue. I have not moved my gaming rig into my game room as of yet. I still have it hooked up to my computer in my study. I may only be a few feet away. I will move things around and see if I get better results. Thank you.

Thank you Billiard26. You nailed it. I was just too close to the sensor. I moved everything, went across the room, and everything works perfectly.
