Every Wii game I start states that I do not have enough Wii Memory Blocks to save games. I have a Wii folder that has a lot of files from a particular game, but I will not remove those. Is there any other way to make more space available for my other Wii games?

If you don't want to delete the files from that game, you'd have to delete files from some other game, assuming there are any.

I need another answer. The memory is read from an sd file correct? If I make a backup of that file and put a fresh one will that be enough for Dolphin to store other saves? I want to know what Dolphin looks for when it determines that blocks aren't available.

The internal NAND is hardcoded to 512 MB, just like on a real Wii and this limit can't be lifted without gross hacks, so if your Wii folder is bigger than that, games will complain. What you can do is create a virtual SD card (can be of any size up to 32 GB) and use Wii System Menu to move save data from the NAND to the virtual SD Card, but keep in mind some games protect their saves from being moved/copied...

The memory that is relevant for this is the NAND, which Dolphin stores as a folder called Wii. Any SD card file you have (even if it is inside the Wii folder) is unrelated to this.

If you make a backup of the Wii folder and put a fresh one there, then yes, games will be able to store their saves.
