No inputs recognized from Xbox 360 Controller

Though the controller is recognized as connected, no inputs are read. Via the joy.cpl command, Windows recognizes inputs from the controller; Dolphin doesn't register anything, though I can select it as an option (keyboard vs Xinput controller). Any ideas as to what's happening?

Now, what version of Dolphin is it? And what happens when you select xinput and try to assign a button?
