Is this still a thing or is the Netplay guide just outdated? I don't see it mentioned in Dolphin anymore under the 'Connect' tab in the NetPlay window.
No Dual-Core on NetPlay??

The master branch now has deterministic dual core, which is enabled automatically if dual core is on and you try and start netplay (or certain games that don't like regular dual core). It basically means that even with dual core turned on, Dolphin will always produce the same output for the same input, so you won't get desyncs.

I see, I see. Thanks for the info. So who should I poke about updating that one line in the NetPlay guide?

The guides are usually only redone for stable releases, otherwise they could end up needing to be changed all the time. 5.0 has been 'overdue' for ages because 4.0 dev builds are changing so rapidly and there have been a few annoying regressions since 4.0 stable that no-one's fixed yet. if someone fixes all these regressions, then 5.0 won't take very long after that.

Oh OK cool. Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks again for the speedy reply and all the info.

I have work I'm avoiding doing, so this is a great way to not do it.

Another question about using Netplay on latest dev builds:
The netplay guide (https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/netplay-guide/) says "Frame Limiter cannot be set to Audio." I'm assuming they meant 'auto' and not 'audio', but is this setting required for netplay? I've had it on auto this whole time and it's been fine. 01-21-2015, 06:14 PM

The audio framelimit option was removed from Dolphin sometime last year because of all the problems it caused. 01-21-2015, 06:54 PM
OK cool. Thanks for clarifying!
