No device recognized

Hey guys, I've been searching this problem for a while but I haven't found any solutions so any help is appreciated. When I run dolphin and try to configure the GCPad controls, nothing shows up in the device drop down menu. I am running windows 8.1 and using Dolphin 4.0.2 x64.

What controller are you trying to use with it? And with what drivers?

Also, you may want to try the latest development builds. It's faster and has a lot more fixes and features!

I was just trying to use my built-in keyboard since I don't have an adapter right now. I also tried 4.0-6301 and ended up with the same problem.

Like built into your laptop? Hmm... so apparently the laptop keyboard isn't being exposed to Dinput...

I don't really know how to get around that. Sad

....okay I do have a way, but PPJoy is kind of extreme and hard to set up, especially for this use. There has to be a better alternative...
