No Data in Game properties? It's blank

I just got dolphin a bit ago, but then confused myself with having two different builds, now I know to use a portable.txt on a separate build.

Anyway, I ended up uninstalling dolphin and reinstalled and now when I go to edit config under game config it's just a blank notepad file, where before it had a bunch of settings. I remember putting in the code for the DOF hack previously, and there was a bunch of settings, now it's all blank.

The game is Skyward Sword. Do I have to play the game for a while before it builds a setting profile or something? . If I go go dolphin/game settings there is also nothing there. I just saw when loading there was a message saying the game ini was overriding some of my settings, but the game ini has no data, yet before it did. Now it seems to not exist at all. I'm not sure what I screwed up here, but I'm scared.

Edit: Now there isn't even a game settings folder? Yeah, well I dont know.

The file that opens when you press Edit Config won't have anything in it unless you put something there. The message about overridden settings probably shows up because of the file that opens when you press Show Defaults (and you aren't supposed to edit that file at all).
