No controller plug in? i5 Core question

I downloaded the latest win64 version of dolphin and it doesn't have a controller plug in or the D3D plug in and nothing happens when I try to open a game. Could it just be because I'm using Windows 7?

Also, I just bought this laptop from the HP website and I ordered it with a i5 450M processor but on CPUZ it says that its a 450M and a 520M? Is there anyway I can test if it's a 520M?
