Maybe you should try turning off any firewalls or programs like virus software that might be blocking the connection (to see if it works then, re-enable after testing). Maybe you need to try port forwarding.Like I said, online is working for me on version 3.5 so portforwarding, firewalls etc is not really the problem.
From nintendo.com's site:
TCP:
Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443
UDP:
Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for peer-to-peer
connections and game play). Our Network Test tool can be used from a
computer behind your firewall to test if outbound UDP is allowed.
EDIT: "-Redumped PEM files the same way I did with v3.5." This seems to be a common thing... people using the old way to dump the files or just using the old files. Those wont work for 4.0 .
"do you have the "user" folder on ur documents adress instead of in the same folder as dolphin.exe?" Yes. As the guide says, thats where the files go.
Since it's working for 3.5 I have done the tutorial before with no problems, of course I might have missed something anyway.
But you say I have to follow the guide, but the guide is for v3.5, not 4.0 and u say the files in the netplay guide is not gonna work?
