It feels like Nintendo want to split the Switch into more specifically handheld- and console-focused models with this move, then? I'm guessing this means some future games will have their graphics quality vary depending on which model the game's played on.

Conversely, I like to make sure I play a retro game the same way it was designed to run... Sometimes I allow some enhancements to be applied, if it doesn't alter anything within the game's design. In any case, I try to never play a game for the first time with enhancements. I want to know the original experience before modifying it.Oddly enough, I've found myself liking both aspects--I really felt Twilight Princess HD's enhancements ended up missing the atmosphere that made the game feel special (although that's only on seeing screenshots and videos), though I felt going further and replacing more models, physics-based animations and more would've better captured the original spirit. With that said, I'm aware that I can take a rather atypical approach to such things.
