Link's Awakening getting a super cute Switch 3D makeover and Link Between Worlds mechanics?

I just hope they don't cutesify the music too much, as Link's Awakenings music is *amazing* and I really hope they don't limit it too much for the presentation!
As for the others, I'm... hesitant about Three Houses. I love Intelligent Systems, but like, they really aren't a great at making games. I mean, all Intelligent System games are glorious messes ( <3 Advance Wars), but Fire Emblem lately has gotten so messy I haven't been able to really stand it, with serious mechanical and story conflicts that just made it unbearable for me. So far it definitely seems like Three Heroes is inheriting the mechanics and story conflict issues from Awakening, which would imply it's going to have another Casual/Serious divider and too many characters and on and on. I can write up a little article if you want to hear my thoughts on it. :3 But! The time rewind mechanic they showed has some potential to address these, and allow permadeath to stay on yet be accessible, all without a hard switch at the start. I'm hopeful!
Yoshi's Crafted World, totally going to buy that and play it with Sonicadvance~
Yay more Captain Toad!
Super Mario Maker 2 looks good! The interface changes look good for the move to controller, and the new options are neat. Not for me, since I don't rally care for 2D mario (I much prefer 3D mario games!), but still, it looks like it will be a great game.
Astral Train... it's platinum, I don't typically enjoy platinum games, so I probably wouldn't care for it either. It looks cool though! We'll see i guess.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is curious. I wonder if they'll address my big issue with the original game - the hard resets between regions. The game only lasts like 8 hours or so, then it strips you of all of your progress and puts you into a new space, repeating the exact same mechanics and progression. And cranks the difficulty to 11 at the same time it removes all of your tools to deal with that difficulty. I just dropped the original after the first region. I beat the game, i didn't want to play it on new game+! :3
Dragon Quest 11... I want to like Dragon Quest, and I really enjoyed 9, but... 11 feels old. And not "good classic RPG" old, but like, a "new" game with 80s and 90s cultural rubbish that it really should have grown out of years ago. It feels dated, and I wish they were better than that.
Oninaki... Meh. I Am Setsuna was SO BORING, and Lost Sphear wasn't much better from my investigations at the time. And here they are with yet another RPG a year later. RPG Factory is certainly an apt name for that developer! I'll read reviews of it, but unless I see GLOWING reviews addressing my issues with their prior games directly, I'm not going to touch Oninaki.
