Well, to be fair, as much praise as the GS games get, their plot has pacing issues. First GS obviously shows that the two games were meant to be one, but it's only in the second game (towards the second half) where things really come together. Otherwise, you're really just running around from town to town solving problems for random people, and the plot advances at the speed of exactly 4 lighthouses (across 2 games...) Dark Dawn has all the same issues without the benefit of having a sequel. In reality, Camelot needs to sit down and seriously consider how to space things properly.
Anyway, I'm loving Octopath Traveler. 16 hours in, trying to complete all the chapters for all characters. Easily seems like a 100+ hour game. It's a bit too easy so far. Starting off with Olberic means I can challenge anyone for kicks, and he's lvl 30 already and I just now added Ophilia as the 8th member. Pretty sure by the time I do his Chapter 2 he'll be overleveled.
