Not how I remember it. The dialog and plot are slow, but I enjoyed the battles and puzzles. Granted, both were definitely on the easy side, I found it nice all the same. Sometimes I don't really want a game that comes off as challenging, just want something to pick up and play without putting too much effort into making progress. I think DD at the time filled that need for me. I recall beating most of the game being stuck inside during a blizzard in 2011. Spent the whole day doing half the game.
Anyway, was talking about this with some other folks, but if they can't or don't want to make a 4th entry in Golden Sun, might as well do a remake of the first 3. I'd definitely buy an HD version on the Switch. It's the perfect chance to put Golden Sun and The Lost Age into a single package, as it was originally meant to be played. Ideally, they'd be very conservative when with those two games, but clean up a bunch of stuff with DD.
