meh, just lvl him a bit and he can steal without much trouble. and even if you did, reload save and DONE

personally i dont want the thief because

1) i dont want to cheat my way through

2) in fights he's semi useless compared to olberic and the scholar

i only have him because im doing his story atm xD (there is a secret ending if you do all char stories)


also, personally i didn't find the game easy, specially in boss fights. even with 3 60+ char's and lvl 26 cleric i had trouble with chapter 4 of the cleric...
you really need to think in though fights, which ive seen quiet a few off (caves, boss fights, when i was under equipped for my lvl because LOLNOMONEY in the first 40ish lvl's )
