There have already been multiple absolutely beautiful games that ran excellently on the Switch, and that's what matters, not how powerful it is compared to whatever other console. Also keep in mind that the Switch is a tablet versus the full-size consoles that everyone else made, which makes it even more impressive.
Let's not forget that Nintendo and a few other 3rd parties have always been masters at working with "limited" hardware. The Wii and 3DS library are chock full of examples. Sometimes art style carries more weight than polygon counts, advanced geometry, and fancy lighting. And even when those do count, plenty of devs have found ways to squeeze Nintendo's hardware in the past.
I've only been a Switch owner for like 3 weeks, but I'm still amazed/impressed with this system graphically speaking. Like, I still can't get used to the massive draw distance in BotW, even after playing something like Horizon Zero Dawn.
